The promenade has been reformed in recent years to create a beautiful space to enjoy the marina from the many terraces of the bars and restaurants. The old fishing harbour leads off to one side where you can see the local fisherman docking with their latest catches. The ferry port is also located here which can whisk you off to the Island of Tabarca.
Skywalk over the Cape of Santa Pola and the Lighthouse

The Skywalk was installed on the edge of the Cape of Santa Pola in 2015 and affords one of the best panoramic views from the Island of Tabarca to Alicante, Benidorm and even Calpe on a clear day. The installation is approximately 100m long and, although it may not be for those who dont have a head for heights, is well worth the walk either from the Lighthouse carpark or via a track leading from the dul-de sac at the top of Avenida Escandinavia
