Rio Safari & Water Park
For a fabulous day out with the family, try visiting the Rio Safari park located between Santa Pola and Elche.
Here you can see animals from all over world by wondering around the different pens or by jumping onto one of the safari trucks. Aniamls include lions, tigers, orangutan, monkeys, sean lions, crocodiles, giraffes, zebra, leopards, buffalo, wallabys, insects, exotic birds and many more.
There are regular shows presenting with sea lions and parrots showing off their skills. There is a cafeteria and picnic areas located around the site.
In the summer, for an additional fee, you can also enjoy the water park area which has several pools including slides and terraces. A perfect combination that makes a great day out!

At an altitude of 1,000m and with an area of 1,500,000m², Safari Aitana is a reserve for wild animals from the five continents. It is the only Safari in the Valencian Community that is visited by car, like an authentic African Safari. This is the best way to observe these marvelous animals in a natural habitat and in semi-freedom.
